BB Academy Policies

Refund, return, and privacy policy for BB Academy courses, workshops, and certificate programs.

Effective Date: 30 June 2026 — This policy applies to all courses, workshops, and certificate programs offered under BB Academy, the training division of Business Boosters Consultancy.

Refund & Return Policy

Scope

This policy governs cancellations, transfers, and refunds for all paid enrollments in BB Academy programs, including standalone workshops and co-delivered programs such as the Corporate Governance Essentials course.

Pricing & Registration

Course fees and registration deadlines are announced in advance of each course on the BB Academy website and through official Business Boosters communication channels. Pricing varies by program, format, and any co-delivery partner involved, and is confirmed at the time registration opens. Business Boosters reserves the right to adjust pricing for future cohorts; participants who have already registered and paid are not affected by subsequent price changes.

Cancellation by the Participant

Participants who cancel their enrollment at least 14 days before the scheduled course start date are entitled to a full refund of fees paid, less any payment processing charges incurred by Business Boosters. Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date are not eligible for a cash refund but may be converted into a credit toward a future BB Academy course, valid for 12 months from the original course date.

Transfers

A participant may request to transfer their enrollment to a colleague or to a later cohort of the same program at no additional cost, provided the request is submitted at least 3 business days before the course start date. Transfer requests submitted later than this will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

No refunds or credits are issued once a course has commenced, regardless of attendance, except where the course is cancelled or postponed by Business Boosters.

Cancellation or Postponement by Business Boosters

If Business Boosters cancels or postpones a scheduled course for any reason — including insufficient enrollment, instructor unavailability, or co-delivery partner constraints — participants will be offered the choice of a full refund or enrollment in the rescheduled session at no extra cost.

Certificates and Materials

Where a joint certificate, for example with The British University in Egypt's School of Continuing Education, has already been issued, fees become non-refundable, as certification reflects completed program delivery and external partner processing.

How to Request a Refund or Transfer

Requests must be submitted in writing to info@bb-firm.com, stating the participant's full name, course name, enrollment date, and reason for the request. Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original method of payment.

Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

When you enroll in a BB Academy course or contact Business Boosters, we may collect your full name, email address, phone number, employer and job title, payment details, and any information you voluntarily provide through enrollment forms, course feedback, or correspondence.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to process enrollments and payments, issue certificates, communicate course logistics and updates, respond to inquiries, and — where you have consented — share relevant updates about future Business Boosters training and advisory services. Co-delivered programs may require sharing limited enrollment data, such as name, email, attendance, and completion status, with the partnering institution for joint certification purposes.

Data Sharing

Business Boosters does not sell or rent participant data to third parties. Data is shared only with co-delivery partners strictly for program administration and certification, with payment processors to complete transactions, and where required by Egyptian law or regulatory authority.

Data Security

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are applied to protect participant data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Payment information is processed through secure, PCI-compliant payment gateways and is not stored directly by Business Boosters.

Data Retention

Enrollment and certification records are retained for as long as necessary to fulfill administrative, legal, and certification verification purposes, typically for a minimum of 5 years following course completion.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting info@bb-firm.com. Deletion requests affecting issued certificates may be limited where retention is required for verification or legal purposes.

Cookies and Website Use

The BB Academy website may use cookies and similar technologies to maintain session functionality and understand site usage. You may disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect certain site features.

Changes to This Policy

Business Boosters may update this Refund, Return, and Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of BB Academy services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
